Here are some useful settings for the game Sea of Thieves which will increase FPS and overall performance.

HUD

First of I would recommend that you go into HUD and go down to Banners and set the Island Banners to slimline. This will make sure that a huge portion of the top and bottom of your screen goes black when sailing near islands. This is helpful if you’re in a fight near islands as it won’t distract you as much.

Video Settings

For video settings I turn off VSync and set the buffering to double. I also recommend turning on the FPS and Ping counters. And lastly, if you’re tired of the intro animatic when you start the game you can turn on the auto-skip function at the bottom under video settings.

Graphic Settings

With these settings I easily get 300 FPS on my NVIDIA RTX 3080 graphics card in Sea of Thieves. They will also help with visibility on maps and seeing players in water and dark places.
